– What’s up guys, SuperSaf here, and it’s the one you’veall been waiting for. The iPhone 13 Pro Max versusthe Samsung Galaxy S2 1 Ultra, SuperSafStyle camera comparison. We’re going to be wrapper lots of detail. We’ll look at all of thedifferent cameras, images, video, low-spirited brightnes paintings, macro cinematic state. There’s lots of ground to cover. I’ll leave some timestamps down below if you’re interested ina particular slouse, but the more “youre watching”, the better it is for me. Right, so hurling thespecs up here on screen, we’re not extremely interested in the specs. We want to see the results. So we’ll is the beginning withthe primary cameras. Now, let me just say that both of these have excellent primarycameras, and in good light, it’s really difficult topick one or another. They both is actually, really good, I utterly desire thisshot of these buds. Both have done tremendously well. You’ve even went that creamydepth of realm going on on both of these becauseof the large sized senses.This is something that I really do like, but lots of detail, very sharp. Now dynamic reach can be slightly better on one or another. For example, on these shots, I do prefer the iPhone 12 Pro Max. There’s a little bit moredetail in the darks, and it’s also not got toomuch flaring with the sun, but on this shot, I opt the S21 Ultra a little bit better. If you look towards the leaves, there’s a little bit moredetail in the shadows on the S21 Ultra. Now with this shot, it’s really difficult to even tell them apartbecause they both are doing really, really well. Apple has now introducedphotographic wordings. So generally we be understood that the S21 Ultra has a little bit more dynamic, a bit more punchy complexions. Now you can sort ofreplicate that if you’d like on the iPhone with thephotographic vogues. Let me demo you got a couple of patterns. So in this example, Iselected rich contrast.And as you can see, younow have lots more contrast in this image. But personally speaking, sure, some might like it, but it’s now crushed the shadowsa little bit in my opinion. Here’s another example and thistime I adopted colourful state and you can clearlysee that the sky is now a lot more vibrant in this shot, but again, these are thingsthat I would rather do in post , not while I’m taking the shots. Maybe I miss vibrant shotswhen I’m shooting landscapes, but I don’t want themwhen I’m shooting parties, and having these photographic wordings, when you’re shooting theimage for me personally, isn’t the best action to go about things.I think the iPhone does anamazing racket, precisely at standard. And then if you do want toapply a few different filters after result, yeah, sure you can do that. They’re not going to be as goodas the photographic modes, because those are actuallybaked into the image processing when the image is being taken. But I still feel that youget the best overall results if you shoot at standardon the iPhone 13 Pro Max. Let’s not move over onto low-toned light. Now with low light, again, both go really good shots in low glowing, you cansee here in this example, things are very, even, Ilike both shots equally well. This is an indoor shot, here I am resting more towards the iPhone, Ithink it’s got less noise and it’s just the clean overall image.However, on this shot, Ido prefer the S21 Ultra. It’s just a sharp overall ensue and it’s maintained the blackson my jacket and my jeans a bit better than the iPhone 13 Pro Max. Now I did generallyfind that the S21 Ultra was somewhat brighter comparedto the iPhone 13 Pro Max in low-pitched glowing situations, but I likewise was also noted that the S21 Ultra wastaking longer exposure eras around six to seven seconds generally, whereas the iPhonewould pretty much always merely opt for three seconds. Now, my presupposition is becauseApple still wants to give you that nighttime feel rather than merely brightening everything up. So I think that’s going to come down to your personalpreference, but if you like, you are eligible to manually merely swipeacross and go all the way up to around 10 seconds. Sorry about that, represent. Now let’s look at the ultra-wide cameras. So both have excellent ultra-wide cameras and they make really gone shots, but after looking at so manydifferent idols side-by-side, I have to say that the S21Ultra does perimeter it out for me. It really has more consistent and overall better dynamic scope. Look at this example here on the tree, you just got brighter shadows without overexposing thehighlights in the background.Here’s another example, if you look towards the grassy provinces, you’vejust got brighter darkness on the S21 Ultra comparedto the iPhone 13 Pro Max. One more speciman here again, if you look towards the foreground, the areas are justbrighter on the S21 Ultra compared to the iPhone 13 Pro Max. Now low-grade beacon with the ultra-wide camera, again, the S21 Ultra justproducing overall sharper decisions compared to the iPhone 13 Pro Max. Now on this lesson, the iPhone 13 Pro Max is actually giving youmore accurate emblazons. The S21 Ultra has definitely leaned more towards the yellow-bellied area, which is not so accurate. Now, on this speciman, neitherare doing great to be honest, this is very, very lowlight, but the S21 Ultra does give you a sharper image. Now, again, with the ultra-wide camera, the iPhone was just defaultingto around three seconds. You can go all the way up to 10 seconds, but then this does result innot as much of a abrupt epitome. It seems like the ultra-widecamera, of course, is not as massive interms of the sensor width compared to the primary camera, and that seems to be thereason for this result.So ultra-wide camera forme, it’s the S21 Ultra. Now a brand-new facet that’s been introduced on both smartphonesthis year is macro mode. This is where the ultra-widecamera is used to refocus when you are close up to subjects. And this is something thatI actually do enjoy employing. Here’s an example, and you can see all of those individual threads.Very, very good on both. This is a close-up of thebench that I was sitting on, again, so much nice detail. And macro shots aresomething that I really like for things like wallpapers, you can get some reallyinteresting upshots. This is a closeup of thespeaker grill in my vehicle. Again, both are doing really, really good. I think you can focus inslightly closer with the iPhone compared to the S21 Ultra, but generally speaking, you’ll merely be gettingsome excellent macro shots on both devices.Zoom, we have two zoomcameras on the S21 Ultra. We have one zoom cameraon the iPhone 13 Pro Max. So the first stop is three times. Now here, both a generallydoing pretty good, but the iPhone I would give the edge to, it simply gives you anoverall sharper idol. And if we do go in five times, then again, you can see this more clearly, the iPhone is giving youan overall sharper idol in comparison with the S21 Ultra. Now I’m assuming this isbecause the S21 Ultra’ s three times zoom camera is not as good as its next zoom camera, whichis the periscope zoom camera, and that’s going to giveyou 10 periods optical zoom. Now, if we liken thisto the iPhone 13 Pro Max, then it’s a clear win for the S21 Ultra, because now we’re usinga lot of digital zoom on the 13 Pro Max comparedto that visual goodness on the S21 Ultra. The iPhone maxes out ataround 15 eras digital zoom, but you can go muchfurther on the S21 Ultra. Now it is at 30 durations, andthat’s a really good shot. I hope the people who own this house are not watching this video, because they’re goingto think I’m a stalker. This is just a really goodlocation to shoot zoom, because things are not really moving and we can really seehow close we can get. But anyway, the S21 Ultra, you can also go all the way up to 100 times.Now, granted at 100 occasions, things are not really usable. You’re not going to really be announcing them as an in-feed on yourInstagram, shall “theyre saying”? But I signify, you can stillmake out a lot of details. And if there was somebodystanding there, for example, then you’d be able tomake them out moderately. Yeah, perhaps you don’t want to do that. Anyway, right now let’s look at descriptions. So on both smartphones, we can take portraitsfrom multiple lenses. This is the one X, so the primary camera, and you are well aware, they’re both do decent.The iPhone does havebrighter darkness here. It has a few faults around my “hairs-breadth”, but the S21 Ultra “ve missed” the constituents in between my limb. Now we can use the threeX cameras on both designs to give you around a 75,77 millimeter focal period, which is something that Ireally like for biographies. And they are doing so much better now. I represent, rims are actually, really good. However, the S21 Ultra hasmissed out that insignificant field in between my appendage, whereasthe iPhone has got it. Maybe this is because of the LIDAR scanner that the iPhone has. It’s better able to get those fringes. This is something thatI’m assuming Samsung has been watching my videos and making that feedback onboard, so thumbs up for that. Initially, this is the only way had one Xand two X, like we can see. Now the two X isn’t bad. In some situations, you can see that at least you have that option there, but it often resultsin not as sharp-witted epitomes as the one X or the three X.Here’s another photograph with more of a complicated background. And now I would givethe earn to the iPhone. The S21 Ultra has givenme a bit of a haircut. You can see that the sideof my hair has been cut off. And when we go in three X, coloring divergences are here, I would say my bark toneis roughly in between both sets of, but nevertheless, both are generally doing pretty well. Again, the iPhone hasdone a slightly better job in terms of edges.If you look in the middle of my appendage, the S21 Ultra has missed that out whereas the iPhone has got that. Again with the S21 Ultra, youcan do the two X portraits, which can do okay. But in this instance, again, it’s just not as abrupt. So for photographs overall, eventhough both do really well, I would still rim towards the iPhone, and that’s thanks to that LIDAR scanner. I think we’re getting betteredge detecting overall. Right, selfies. Now I got to say that I am very impressed with the selfies fromboth of these smartphones.They take excellent selfies. Here’s an example in a prettytricky lighting statu. You can see that there’sa lot of sunlight coming, and clearly the radiance on myforehead doesn’t help things I’ve been slightly overexposed on both, but I’m also wearing abright white T-shirt, both have actually donea unusually, very good job. We’ve got lots of detail. Skin pigments are also slightly different, but pretty good on both. Both smartphones can alsotake wider selfies as well. If wishes to take radical selfies, and now can see that theiPhone is slightly wider and both likewise shoot portraitsfrom the figurehead facing camera. And I make, look at these. These are both pretty much flawless. Look at those rims. I imply, I am so impressed with how far selfie likeness have come, I necessitate, these are some certainly, really gone shots and I would have to call it a elicit. One advantage that youdo get on the S21 Ultra is you can shoot wider descriptions. Right, that was the likeness, let’s now take a look at video. Now I expended so much better timetaking lots of video in lots of different situations, and a great deal of you are goingto be disappointed by this, but when it comes to goodlight, both are very, very good. Samsung has come very farin the video department. And I would say, in my opinion, it is the best smartphonefor video on Android.But of course the iPhoneis tried and measured. It does truly, really well. For stabilization, I think bothactually were neck and neck, I certainly couldn’t pick one or the other. “Its for” both the primary as well as the ultra-wide cameras, as well as with 4K 60 encloses a second. Again, stabilization, excellent on both smartphones. Now, as you may know, theiPhone does record HDR video with Dolby Vision acrossall of his cameras. The S21 Ultra does have HDR recording. It is within the specifies andit’s got a little lab sign and this works with therear facing cameras. HDR is still a little bittricky and that’s because to truly appreciate it, there is a requirement to a expose that’s HDR compatible. So this is still a format that I think is not fully widespread as yet. However, where reference is do look at the examples, although the S21 Ultra has improved, it’s still not as goodas the iPhone 13 Pro Max. Take a look at this instance, there’s a lot of glowing cominghere from the background, a highly tricky situation for dynamic series, but the dark ranges have so far been been better maintainedon the iPhone 13 Pro Max compared to the S21 Ultra. And this is one of thereasons why so many people affection video on iPhonesbecause it’s so consistent and it plays so well inlots of different situations, including low-pitched lamp. Take a look at this instance, the iPhone video is justcleaner with much less sound in comparison with the S21 Ultra. Now the S21 Ultra does havesome deceptions up its sleeve. It can record 8K video. “Its from” the primary camera, and it does pasture in quite significantly. Stabilization has is rather improved with software updates, but it’s still something that I was able to useif I was on a tripod. This is something that’s not available on the iPhone 13 Pro Max. Right, slow motion, bothof these can do 1080 at 240 formulates a second, andboth actually do pretty good. However, the S21 Ultra doeshave super slow mo at 720 p , now 720 p in 2021 is notsomething that’s really usable. You can see that the qualitydoes dip down quite a bit. However, it does allow you to get around 960 formulates asecond, be it a short bust, so there is that. Right, figurehead facing camera video. This was much closer than ever.I think both give excellent quality video from the front facing cameras. The iPhone, however, is slightly wider. So that is what I’ve noticed and I would say it’sever so most effective and efficient for dynamic compas thanks tothe Dolby Vision with HDR. This is something that you don’t have on the front facingcamera of the S21 Ultra. For stabilization fromthe breast facing camera, I guess both were prettymuch evenly as good and they accomplished particularly, very well.Right, cinematic video. This was quite difficult to test. This is a new featurethat apple has introduced on the iPhone. The S21 Ultra also hassomewhat of a similar peculiarity, which is called portrait video. Now these can also work withthe front facing camera, and now you can see that, although both are doing a pretty good job overall, I wouldn’t say eitherof these are perfect. However, when it comes tothe rear facing cameras, the S21 Ultra, sure, itcan record photograph video, however, there does seem to be a lot of processing happening there. Now the edges are not perfect on either, here’s the S21 Ultra, andhere’s the iPhone 13 Pro Max. Now awarded my grey-headed hairagainst that grey-headed background wasn’t the best situation for it. But the great advantage that youhave on the iPhone 13 Pro Max is you can actually deepen thepoint of focus very easily. And is not simply that, youcan also do this in post.So after you’ve taken theshot, you can go back in and modify the place of focus. With the S21 Ultra onceyou’ve recorded that, that’s all you have. You can also adjust how much blurriness you crave in the backgroundof the iPhone 13 Pro Max. So this is a reallyinteresting new facet on the iPhone 13 Pro Maxand sure, it’s not perfect, but it’s definitely bettercompared to what we have on the S21 Ultra. Let me know if you want meto do like a dedicated video on cinematic mode, where I actually go out and try to shoot lots of different typesof cinematic footage.It’s obviously a comparison now, so I can only establish so many samples. Auto focus, I think in goodlight, both are very, very good, and are very fast as well. However, the iPhone 13 Pro Max is still better at focusing in lowlight, and that is thanks to that LIDAR scanner. For audio, have a listen. Now this is a quick audiotest on the iPhone 13 Pro Max, and now on the Samsung Galaxy S2 1 Ultra. Let me know which oneyou think sounds better. Now, I don’t know aboutyou guys, but to my ears, they both music certainly, really gone. And I wouldn’t have a problemusing either of these.They have excellentquality audio recording. It’s becoming harder andharder to differentiate between these two. And that is the SuperSafStylecamera comparison between the iPhone 13 Pro Max and the Samsung Galaxy S2 1 Ultra. Now I have to say, theseare some of the best smartphone cameras out there right now. And if someone tells youthat one is significantly better than the other, theyare simply lying to you. I don’t think you can go wrongwith either of these cameras.Now, sure, each do havetheir own advantages. So if you are somebody who likes taking more ultra-wide shots and youlike having periscope zoom, then of course the S21 Ultrais going to be better for you. However, if you shoot piles more video, although the S21 Ultra doestake really good quality video, the iPhone 13 Pro Max still in my view, has the best video onany smartphone right now. And it also does certain things better, such as portrait mode andwe’ve also get this new cinematic video peculiarity, whichis also genuinely, really cool.That’s what I conceive regardless.
